First International Bank and Trust has announced two recent promotions to its Minot area banking team: Brock DesLauriers as President of Minot and Blair Slaughter as Retail Operations Supervisor.
DesLauriers started working for the FIBT in 2005 as a cashier while in college. Over the years, he has gone from teller to credit analyst, personal banker, consumer lender, mortgage loan officer, commercial loan officer and most recently Senior Vice President/North Hill Branch Manager. In his new role as President of Minot, DesLauriers will oversee Minot’s entire lending team, as well as the Minot Broadway, North Hill and Arrowhead offices.
A graduate of Bishop Ryan High School, DesLauriers attended Minot State University, where he earned a degree in accounting and finance. He is married and has two daughters.
Slaughter has been with the FIBT for eight years, holding numerous positions such as cashier and personal banker. Prior to her promotion, Slaughter was an assistant operations supervisor. In her new role, she will oversee the entire Minot Retail Banking team across all Minot FIBT locations.
Slaughter is from Powers Lake and graduated from Minot State University in 2013 with a degree in finance and business management. She is married and has two daughters.
